Riddo’s Run Property Services is fully insured for Public Liability as well as Workers Compensation. Staff have completed NSW Police checks and have also completed a Working with Children check.

What's included in a lawn mowing service?

Our lawn mowing service will include edging, mowing and blowing of hard surfaces such as path and driveways. For those of you who want a little more, Lawn Care packages are available from a Basic through to a Premium package and will include fertilising and renovation services. How often should I get my lawn mowed?

The frequency of mowing will depend on several factors such as type of grass, time of year and how fast your lawn actually grows. As a guide a general rule of thumb is to mow your lawn often enough that you are only removing about one third of the leaf blade in a cut. This will encourage a good dense growth which in turn will encourage a healthy lawn and prevent weed growth. What time of year is best for fertilising lawns?

Your grass, like any other plant, needs water, oxygen, sunlight and nutrients to perform at its best. In order for your lawn to thrive, a balanced fertiliser should be applied regularly through the year. Depending on the quality, a granular fertiliser can last anywhere between 8-12 weeks (some even longer) however a liquid or foliar based fertiliser would require frequent (monthly) applications.
